Our main blast room is 8.5 metres long and 3.6 metres wide and is equipped with a high efficiency Australian-made dust collection system and a blasting media cleaning and recovery system. Spent abrasive sand is captured by a screw conveyor and bucket elevator which feeds an air-wash recovery system to separate reusable sand from dust and blasted debris. The recovery system is Australian-made by Protoblast.
Smaller items such as car parts, plumbing fittings, cupboard handles, door hardware and any delicate jobs are usually sandblasted in our 2.8m sandblasting cabinet. All plumbing fittings, polished stainless steel pool fence fittings and door hardware are sandblasted prior to powdercoating regardless of whether they are old or new.
